Why do I get a error message once in a blue moon when booting dell pc?

Question by Tech M: Why do I get a error message once in a blue moon when booting dell pc?
I am getting the following error message once in a blue moon when I boot my Dell PC.

Alert! Previous attempts at booting this system have failed at checkpoint [D0] Please make note of this checkpoint and contact Dell Technical Support!

Dell has been unable to help? Any Ideas what could be causing this I have a Insprion 519.

I’d bet that it’s a Dell issue. Dell is notorious for passing the buck. That looks like a Dell BIOS error message, usually indicating hardware failure of some sort (D0 might in this case refer to your primary hard drive?)

i’d call Dell back, get someone U.S. based (sorry, foreign friends) and ask for a Level 2 tech or above.
